Silenus

Silenos (from Greek Σειληνός [seilenos]) is a teacher and companion to the god Dionysus from Greek mythology. He is depicted as an old man with horse ears, sometimes also the horse legs and tail. As most of Dionysus's retinue, he is known for his love of wine, and for his prophetic abilities when drunk.
