what is the keyword (change job) becose i don't find them in the rules…..
Keyword Job Change! You're right, I seem to have forgotten to add it to the keyword list. I'll go add it in.
The cost for a Job Change is written in (parentheses) after the keyword and itself and a (number) that specifies what the cost of the Job Change destination can be. It means you can play a Backup of the specified cost from your hand to the field. The cost of a Job Change often (or was it always? I forget if there are exceptions) involves moving the card that uses it to the Break Zone as part of it.
Example:
Job Change (3) - ((1F)(W), move Black Mage to the Break Zone)
means
This card can use the ability Job Change, and through it call to the field a Backup-type card of cost 3 or less without paying for that card's cost. The cost of using this Job Change ability is 1 Fire CP and moving the Black Mage to the Break Zone.
hey hi do you remember me i ask you a lot of question about ff tcg 2 years ago……… and now i have a lot of new question for you :)
about 5-124 Yeoman (Mid-type Armored Soldier) After a Forward of yours has dealt damage to the opponent, make all of your name(Yeoman)s Active.
(W): Choose one Active Forward. Deal 1,000 damage to it.
my question is about a forward i control deal damage to another forward , can i ready Yeoman ?
and if i can suggeste something, just presice what is a backup and what is a monster becose ther all the same apparance whit no power ist little bit confuse about some card im not sure if is a backup or monster……….. thx :)
Hi! Yeah I remember you, welcome back :)
For 5-124 Yeoman, the ability will only activate after you have just dealt a point of damage to your opponent directly,. It will not activate if you only deal damage to one of their Forwards. The same applies to all other abilities that only specify 'your opponent', not 'a Forward your opponent controls'.
I've thought a lot about that Forward/Backup/Monster/etc distinction, haven't figured out yet what would be the best way…I'll give it some more thought and try to fix it by the end of next week. Thanks for the feedback!
i have a new question for you (11-083 Edgar) if the defending forward is reduse to zero power because the ability of edgar will they die ?
Hello, everyone.
I can help this question from you.
"Job change(ジョブチェンジ)" is a new keyword that started from Chapter11. It be considered as a action ability, and only Backups get this keyword. It doesn't change the job of that Backup.
When you pay the cost and activate this action ability, you can place a Backup that have the cost under the number in () to the field.
For example, when you activate the action ability of 12-002C Red Mage and place it to the breakzone, you can place a backups from your hand that cost under "3", because the number in () is 3.
If 12-002C Red Mage came to the field by Job Change, instead all Fire Forwards you control gain +2,000 power and Haste until the end of the turn.
And for the question of 11-083S Edgar
Yes, When your opponent let a Forwards defense the attack of Edgar. All of the Forwards your opponent controls gain -2,000 power
for every Forward with (P) you control. For example, You control 3 Forwards of (P) icon, All of the Forwards your opponent controls gain -6,000 power.
And of course, in this situation. If the power of Forwards your opponent controls reduce to Zero, It will be killed suddenly. Further more, because this ability is before the damage step, your Edgar will not get any battle damage from the Forwards your opponent controls that defense you, because your Edgar and that Forward hasn't contacted yet.
