Puppetmaster is one of the many advanced jobs in Final Fantasy XI. It can be unlocked by completing the lv30 quest. Accessing the quest requires the expansion Treasures of Aht Urhgan.

Basic Stats
The basic stats range in rank from A to G. The actual stat is calculated based on your race and job level. In addition to the basic stat formula, some bonuses are applied, such as traits that affect them, as well as any stats your support job contributes.

Combat Skills
Combat skills range in rank from A+ to F. In addition to the job's native skills, you may receive some skill through a support job (max skill increase) or equipments' traits (actual skill increase). Note that combat skills aren't gained automatically at level-up, but you need to use the skill to raise it. The numbers below are the caps for each level.

Pet Commands
The below commands are only available when an Automaton is deployed by first using the ability Activate, and some require equipping an Animator as well (see below in Weapons/Animators). Note that Maneuvers are special actions with some limitations. See the Automaton's page for more information.

Animators
Animators are a special type of equipment exclusive to PUPs that goes to the ranged slot. Without equipping one, you will not be able to transmit all pet commands to your Automaton, causing it to do only what it can by itself in default status.
Note that past level 99, the item level of your animator determines the level of your Automaton.
